Home-Start helps families
 
 Home-Start helps families who ask for support, when struggling with parenthood. As a volunteer, you pays regular visits for a longer period of time. You become the friendly neighbor, aunt, friend or grandparent they have been missing.
 
 During these weekly visits you form a bond with the parents and the children. The parents have room to share their worries and ask for advice on parenting. You join in with the family’s routine. You bring positivity and new energy to the home.
 
 This way, Home-Start aims to increase the confidence of parents and help them to build up a social network.
 
 What’s in it for you?
 
 You get to do fun activities with a family with young children. You get to know people you might otherwise not meet. You experience another home and culture. And you get to make a difference for a whole family. Therefore, you receive a lot of appreciation from the parents.

 We offer a volunteer training, so you’ll be well prepared. And we offer themed lectures and group and one-on-one coaching.
